Sakura Tomoe

Sakura Tomoe is a 15 year old girl who bears a striking resemblance to Aya's younger sister. Her name means cherry blossom.

Appearance[]

Sakura had brown hair and dark pink eyes. She wears a school uniform consisting of pink sweater with a yellow vast, green bow, blue skirt and pink shoes. She is also seen wearing a P.E uniform with a white shirt and red burūmā.

Personality and Traits[]

Seemingly down after all the pressure, Sakura changes to becoming more upbeat after meeting Aya.

MISSION 6 FRÄULEIN - THE IMAGE OF A GIRL - []

Sakura wakes up in the middle of a pool of ice and then realises she has had her kidney removed. The police wouldn't help, but according to Manx she went on a midnight talk show and the response was amazing.

She tries to leave her school but is immediately surrounded by the press who asks her who her doctor is, and if she would mind showing her scar and other intrusive questions like what her boyfriend says. There are also some who are sceptical of her claims, thinking she was simply out late. She gets in the car with Aya when he arrives to rescue her from the endless questions. In the car she addresses Aya as “sir” and says she wants to get out, she thinks he is a reporter but hears he's a florist.

By a riverside she comments how she never used to get so tired. She had no idea the media wound hound her so bad and feels like she done something bad. Aya assures her she didn’t and she says she's really glad to have met him. Sakura takes part in a race there and then but trips over and tearfully realizes she can't do it. Aya helps her up and she cries into his chest.

Wears a disguise to slip away from reporters, Sakura finds Aya in the flower store. When Aya and Yohji fend off the reporters she collapses to her knees asking why it happened to her, that she's so tired, and not even Omi’s sunflower can alleviate how she currently feels. When told flatly to stop whining by Aya, she becomes upset and runs for quite some distance. Aya catches up to her and they have some ice cream before Sakura is kidnapped and prepared to have her heart removed by Yakoo. Thanks to a tracker Aya placed on her that he got from Omi he is able to find her and the doctor. After her operation, Sakura resumes her goal to take part in track again with the track team, she may not set any records but she resolves to give it her best shot

MISSION 9 SCHREIENT - EACH ONE'S THOUGHTS -[]

Sakura brings fruit for Aya and asks Ms Momoe where they have gone.

MISSION 14 FLIEHEN - MARTIAL LAW - []

Sitting in her room at night, Sakura wonders if she left a window open and is shocked to see Aya on her balcony. After being told to transfer someone called Aya to a different hospital if he doesn’t come back, she asks why he is requesting it of her. Accepting the key, Sakura enthusiastically asks that he will be coming back, and in response to silence she asks him to promise he’ll come back. Sakura turns and calls to him as he leaves but finds Aya has disappeared.

MISSION 15 DUELL - HUNTERS OF REVENGE - []

Sakura runs as she witnesses the Public Peace special forces preventing a man walking freely then hits him as they assume control of the city. She makes her way to Aya's sister and sees who she is before wondering who she is to Aya himself.

She later caresses her cheek then wonders why Aya asked her to take care of her. Sakura has remained by Aya’s side as she views a building on fire in the distance through the hospital window, pondering if Aya is ever coming back to them.

MISSION 16 SCHATTEN - RETURN TO BATTLE - []

She is mentioned by Omi in an email to Aya that she is sad he moved so far away and that she really misses him.

MISSION 17 KRITIKER - PRIDE WITH NO NAME - []

Waiting outside the newly renovated flower shop, Sakura doesn't speak to anyone since Aya isn’t present before she leaves.

MISSION 19 SEHEN - PRELUDE TO INSANITY - []

At a concert venue, Sakura turns round to answer where a delivery of flowers is supposed to go and is surprised to see that it is Omi and Aya. She answers she’s here because her aunt's brother in law manages this stadium. She gasps when Omi delightfully tells her this is perfect as he leaves her alone with Aya. Asking how that girl has been in the hospital, Sakura apologizes as she sees Aya glower. Replying she knows he wasn’t trying to avoid him, she asks if they could meet sometime, suggesting maybe later when called over.

Entering the flower shop, she says hi to everyone. Finding Aya wiping a glass window, Sakura asks if he's busy. Appearing down when he seems to ignore her, she is happy when Aya suggests going to a café. There, she questions why he has the same name as her, wondering if it’s just a coincidence. She then raises why did he come here if he’s not going to talk to her. Hearing that the girl is Aya's little sister, Sakura replies if she were his wife or girlfriend she would give up on him. Yet with that not the case, she immediately declares that she loves Aya, she's always thinking about him and knows him like no one else.

Hearing he doesn’t have any feeling for her, Sakura seems hurt but has considered that since Aya entrusted the safety deposit key to her that it meant something more. Querying if Aya simply had no one else to ask, Sakura guesses she was wrong and says she doesn’t understand, not even knowing what he's thinking. Desiring to know what Aya's really trying to do, she speculates it's something important before contemplating that she was just a substitute for Aya's sister.

After he leaves, Sakura heads outside and is approached by Omi. Sharing what happened, Sakura begins crying over it. In pole vaulting she is unable to get over the bar. When Gunter X’s concert occurs, Sakura is asked to go check if he’s ready five minutes until show time. She witnesses Aya cut down Kagawi and now she knows everything.
